ONLINE CALL WITH BISHOP KAREN OLIVETO

Monday, April 22nd from 7:00-8:30 pm

Bishop Karen Oliveto is inviting clergy and laity of the Mtn Sky Conference to join her in a Zoom online call on Easter Monday, April 22 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. MDT. During this time, discussed will be where the denomination is at this historic moment as well as listening to participants on the call as to how the Holy Spirit has been speaking to folk around the church's future. MILE HIGH METRO DISTRICT LAY SERVANT LEADERSHIP CLASSES

Fri., April 26th from 6:00-9:00 pm and Sat., April 27th from 8:30 - 4:00 pm

The Mile High Metro District is offering their semi-annual Lay Servant Leadership Classes from 6 to 9 p.m. April 26 and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. April27 at Wheat Ridge UMC. Participants register for one of the following courses: Basic Course, Preaching or God's Mission Your Journey: Missional Engagement with Communities & Beyond. A CALL TO ACTION: FIGHT CHILD TRAFFICKING

Saturday, April 27th from 9:30-2:00 pm

A community wide program, A CALL TO ACTION: FIGHT CHILD TRAFFICKING will be hosted by our church on Sat. April 27. Dr. Jeff Brodsky, the founder of JOY International, will speak to adults in the morning {9:30 - 11:30}, and middle & high school youth in the afternoon {noon-2pm}. The Membership Team is sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, April 28th. Enjoy fellowship and breakfast in between services on this Sunday in April.

MISSIONS CLOTHING DRIVE FOR THE TENNYSON CENTERFOR CHILDREN

Sunday, April 28th before and after services

Tennyson Center for Children is a residential treatment center and K-12 school for emotionally and crisis-affected children and youth, particularly those who have suffered from abuse and neglect. The clothes that Missions has purchased will be displayed and available for "sponsorship" on April 28th in the Fellowship Hall, before and after services. Please consider supporting this effort! HOLY LAND TOUR

Sunday, May 5th at 11:45 am

Visit the Mediterranean through sights, sounds and tastes of Israel & Egypt. Follow in Jesus’ footsteps as fellow church members share photos and experiences of their recent travels to the Holy Land. A free Mediterranean lunch will be provided by the travelers along with talented chef, Clyde Sacks. Please RSVP so we can estimate the amount of food.
