Losing Keys: Confession and The Truth About Ourselves

When we lose our keys, when we lose ourselves, when we lose IT – these moments, whether tiny
inconveniences or huge problems – reveal a truth about us: that we don’t always have it all together. It also
reveals a truth about God: that we are loved wholly and completely anyway. Paul tells us that this is a cause
for rejoicing – an opportunity to experience grace once again.
