Jesus’ Alternative Plan involves all aspects of our lives – and especially how we relate to and how we prioritize stuff. While his instructions on not storing up treasure on earth, his insistence on giving to those in need, and

his warnings that we cannot serve both God and our stuff, may seem like almost impossible standards, Jesus explains that we are meant to live out this plan of his in community – depending on one another and on God,

and in that way, we find our true treasure.
