Time to Switch Off

Watch any little kid for very long and you will realize that play is serious business. The commandment to

observe the sabbath encourages us to care for our physical, emotional, and spiritual lives. It is an essential

reminder that we are created in the image of God who wants us to honor the divinity within ourselves. It’s a

chance to renew ourselves. It calls us to value human well-being above everything else.
