Love, True Love (The Princess Bride)

The Princess Bride is the epitome of all childhood fantasy stories with pirates and swordfights and princesses
and true love. In the film, Westley, aka the Dread Pirate Roberts tells his true love, Princess Buttercup “death
cannot stop true love, all it can do is delay it for awhile.” Not always true with romantic love, but definitely
true of God’s love. Paul told the church in Corinth that even when everything else is gone, love – true love –
will remain. This is a promise on which we can build our lives and place our hope.
