Heritage of Hope

Wesley was a practical theologian who believed faith must be put into practice in our daily lives. One of

Wesley’s fears for the Methodist movement was that we would stop living out the good news and would lose

some of our fire and zeal for God. Through individual and corporate practices of mercy and piety, Wesley

believed that we would continue to grow in our love for God and make a difference in the world.
