Give Up “I’m Right’”

We put so much trust in our abilities, degrees, certifications, and accomplishments that they can become the

center of our identity. Paul was one of the most accomplished and credentialed members of his community,

yet he counts all his accomplishment as nothing compared to the work of God. In his letter to the Philippians,

Paul asks us to consider what God might be able to do in us if we spent less time proving our worth or our

rightness and more time trusting grace.
